Some restaurants are great for a weekend brunch, others excel at dinner, but few places can be counted on to deliver at any time of the day.   Market Provisions is one of those rare bistros where you know you will have the freshest most flavorful meal every time.

They provide the food and wine, you provide the company.

On Sunday mornings, the place takes on a casual vibe as friends meet to catch up while sampling from the diverse brunch menu.   From fritattas to breakfast sandwiches to burgers and salads, there is something for everyone - all the freshest most flavorful ingredients.

If you spend $14 on food, you can opt for the $5 bottomless mimosa.   Or if you are like me you can explore the wine list populated by a wide range of unique wines from all over Europe.   I like to sit at the bar and eat, allowing for the opportunity to sample a few wines before making my selection.

At dinner, the restaurant transforms into a more elegant bistro with seating inside and out.   A small selection of homemade pastas are complimented by a wide range of shared plates and an extensive charcuterie and cheese menu.

One of the dinner options is this house made pasta with a spicy shrimp sauce.

My favorite by far was the roasted asparagus topped with a perfectly fried egg.

The roasted asparagus are divine, accompanied by manchengo, a tomato cream sauce, and topped with a fried egg.
